"The 2016 Fleurie Cuvée Tardive unfurls in the glass with notes of dark cherries, spice and potpourri. On the palate, it's full-bodied, textural and richly structured around fine-grained tannins, with considerable concentration and depth. Though the Cuvée Tardive is more reserved than the regular bottling, it's a lot more giving than the 2017 at this stage."
