Gigondas Réserve er kendt for sin eksplosive bouquet af sort frugt men underliggende hits af krydderier og garrigues. Smagen er kompleks, men afbalanceret og rummer stor rundhed og modenhed i frugten.

"Aromas of peonies, dark cherries and rose intertwined with delicate notes of iris preface the 2022 Gigondas Reserve, a medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated wine. Built around a more assertive tannic frame than Le Regard Loin, it showcases controlled power and a long, structured finish. This is a rather chewy, dense Gigondas that is perfectly executed. It was matured for 18 months, with the first year seeing each grape variety separated in a combination of barrels, large barrels, foudres and concrete tanks, followed by six months where grapes are blended and matured in concrete tanks."
